He holds numerous pharma/delivery system patents issued and pending in the U.S. and Globally. Niichel has an MS in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
With 25+ years of experience in the medical device field, and a multi-national corporate R&D, he has 20+ years experience in active implantable devices. And he has 5+ years in in-vitro diagnostics and pharmaceuticals, led R&D, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory functions at VP level; and has 9 patents in the biomedical field. As a published author, he has a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS & PhD in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering.
